You’ve made it to closing—congratulations!
But before you sign the final papers and grab those keys, there are a few things you should know to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Here’s what we at Pinnacle Land & Title recommend you keep in mind before the big day:
1. Review Your Closing Disclosure
This document outlines all of your loan terms, closing costs, and other expenses. You should receive it at least three business days before closing—read it carefully and ask questions if anything seems unclear.
2. Bring the Right Documents
You’ll need a valid photo ID (sometimes two), and possibly a cashier’s check or wire confirmation for your closing costs. Don’t forget any lender or attorney paperwork you’ve been instructed to bring.
3. Confirm Wire Instructions
Wire fraud is real—and on the rise. Always confirm payment instructions directly with our team using a verified phone number.
4. Be Ready to Sign
Closings involve a lot of paperwork—from loan documents to final disclosures. We’ll walk you through every form and make sure you understand what you’re signing.
5. It’s More Than a Transaction—It’s a Milestone
Buying or selling a home is a big deal. We’re honored to be part of the moment, and we strive to make it a positive, memorable experience.
Closing day should feel exciting, not overwhelming.
With Pinnacle Land & Title, you have a dedicated team ready to guide you to the finish line—and beyond.
